IILEDIIAYA

Wihni’s people have maintained their hidden way of live for hundreds of thousands of years in Iilediiaya. The Iilediiaweh (meaning “First People”) are the original inhabitants of the American continents that lay claim to the establishment of the population, culture, and lands. Their land exists in a separate dimension above the American continents where the tribe lives autonomous of the rest of the world.

This secretive land is sheltered by thick and heavily protected boundaries. They rarely accept visitors who are not related to inhabitants of the land.

At one time, the borders between Iilediiaya and the world were opened for the inhabitants of both realms to interact. After the end of the Indian Wars, the Iilediiaweh were bound by strict treaties, and retreated to Iilediiaya to rebuild.

The center heart of the land is the market square called Needooshi’hee. This area hosts the tribe’s Great Long House and other communal buildings, markets, pastures, fields, etc. This area holds all of the building, storage, and equipment the tribe uses to maintain and protect the tribe’s self-sufficiency.

Seven lands lead out of the heartland. These lands belong to the seven clans of the tribe. The Inahe’de and Nawa’ee lands are to the north of the market square. The Noohe’de and Idzweh’eloo clan lands are to the east. To the south are the Asoodz’que and the Dza’saile lands. The Siwehqi’oosi’s clan lands are to the west of the heartland, this is reflected in the Iilediiaweh tribal crest.

The outer lands of Iilediiaya exist beyond the clan borders. All of their secrets are yet to be revealed. Keep reading the Unwritten Series to discover all there is to know about this extraordinary place.
